Cassette air conditioners are the backbone of commercial cooling in Alkapuri’s corporate offices and retail showrooms. However, because they are mounted inside false ceilings, local mechanics often do a poor job of servicing them to avoid the hassle. Our dispatch unit was called to a premium retail space where a choked Cassette AC was leaking water directly onto the showroom floor.

Upon running our diagnostic protocol, we found the evaporator coils completely choked with dust and bio-slime, which was causing the internal drain pump to overflow. To fix this, our engineers deployed the Atlas Power Jet Wash System. We installed a specialized waterproof service canopy around the ceiling unit to protect the client’s property. We then used a high-pressure water jet and alkaline coil cleaners to blast away the hardened debris from the circular coils and flush the drain lines completely clear.

Once the airflow was fully restored, we attached our manifold pressure gauges to the outdoor condenser unit. The system was running under-pressure, which explained the ice formation. We performed a highly calibrated refrigerant gas top-up to bring the standing and running pressures back to factory specifications. The 4-way louvers are now delivering a flawless, even chill across the entire showroom.
