In heavy manufacturing zones like Manjusar GIDC and Alindra Savli, a chiller breakdown is a critical emergency that halts production lines and causes massive financial bleeding. The Atlas Aircon heavy-duty engineering squad was dispatched to a major processing plant in Manjusar after their primary industrial chiller repeatedly tripped on a High-Pressure (HP) fault.

Standard residential mechanics are entirely unequipped to handle heavy-tonnage industrial chillers. Our certified engineers initiated a full system diagnostic. We discovered heavy calcium scaling inside the condenser tubes, which was severely restricting water flow and heat transfer. Furthermore, extreme vibrations had caused a micro-leak in the copper piping, depleting the refrigerant, and the main compressor contactors were heavily pitted due to continuous industrial voltage fluctuations.

We executed an immediate industrial overhaul on-site. The condenser tubes were mechanically brushed and chemically descaled to restore optimal water flow. We brazed the copper micro-leak under a nitrogen purge, pulled a deep vacuum using heavy-duty industrial pumps, and recharged the system with pure OEM-grade R134a refrigerant by exact weight. Finally, we replaced the damaged electrical contactors. The chiller was brought back online, stabilizing the plant’s production parameters at a precise 7°C chilled water temperature.
